Baku: President of the Republic of Croatia Zoran Milanovic has sent a congratulatory letter to President Ilham Aliyev in celebration of Azerbaijan's Independence Day, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Milanovic expressed his pleasure in extending warm congratulations on behalf of himself and the citizens of Croatia. He conveyed his wishes for progress and prosperity to the people of Azerbaijan.

In his letter, President Milanovic highlighted the enduring cooperation and friendship between Croatia and Azerbaijan. He expressed confidence that the two nations will continue to advance their relations and explore new avenues for cooperation. He mentioned that the economic opportunities available to both countries could serve as a catalyst for more significant collaboration in the future.

The letter concluded with President Milanovic assuring President Aliyev of his highest consideration, reflecting the strong diplomatic ties between the two nations.
