Deputy PM Announces Completion of Aghband-Kelaleh Road Bridge

Baku: The construction of the Aghband-Kelaleh road bridge has been completed, as announced by Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev. Mustafayev, who serves as the co-chair of the Azerbaijan-Iran State Commission from the Azerbaijani side, made this announcement during the 17th meeting of the Commission on cooperation in economic, trade, and humanitarian fields held in Baku.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Mustafayev stated that the bridge is expected to be operational once the construction of the border and customs infrastructure is finished. He highlighted that this infrastructure project will connect the East Zangazur economic region with Nakhchivan via the shortest and most efficient route. Additionally, it will form a crucial part of a road corridor linking the Persian Gulf with the Black Sea.
