An earthquake jolts the Caspian Sea, the Republican Seismological Service Center (RSSC) told APA.

Today at 21:00 (GMT+4), an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.1 was recorded in the Caspian Sea, 45 km southeast of the Astara station, according to the Center.

The depth of the earthquake was 11 km.

The earthquake was not felt.
