Washington: The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), operating under the Department of Energy, has revised its forecast for global daily production of liquid hydrocarbons for 2025-2026. This information was reported by APA-Economics, referencing the EIA’s monthly report.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this year, the average global daily production of liquid hydrocarbons is expected to reach 105.98 million barrels, which marks an increase of 0.11 million barrels from the previous forecast. The EIA also projects that in the subsequent year, global daily production will rise to 107.37 million barrels, compared to the earlier forecast of 107.17 million barrels.
The report further highlights that in 2024, the daily production of liquid hydrocarbons amounted to 103.17 million barrels, representing an increase of 1.12 million barrels compared to the 2023 figure of 102.02 million barrels. Historical data shows that in 2022, the average global daily production was 99.99 million barrels, while in 2021
, it stood at 95.7 million barrels. In 2020, the production was 93.84 million barrels, and in 2019, it reached 100.61 million barrels.
