Baku: We are grateful for the support provided to Azerbaijan in the field of mine clearance, Representative of the President of Azerbaijan on Special Assignments Elchin Amirbayov, said during his speech at the 4th International Conference on Mine Action titled 'Humanitarian Demining for Urban Recovery Setting Standards of Excellence for Safe Settlements' in Baku.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Amirbayov expressed his appreciation for the assistance received but highlighted the insufficient level of international support in Azerbaijan's mine clearance endeavors. He emphasized the need for increased global involvement to effectively address the challenges posed by landmines in the region.
