Nardaran: Businessman Emin Agalarov has issued a statement regarding the incident that occurred at Sea Breeze yesterday, APA reports. Businessman Emin Agalarov shared a post about the incident on his personal Instagram page.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, Agalarov expressed his deepest condolences to the affected family, acknowledging the profound pain experienced by the parents and loved ones. He mentioned that an investigation is currently underway to ascertain all the details surrounding the incident, specifically how the child accessed the technical area of the pool where the water pumps were operational, despite it being enclosed by barriers. Agalarov emphasized that Sea Breeze is fully cooperating with the investigation.

Agalarov reassured that the safety of both children and adults has always been a paramount commitment for Sea Breeze. He noted that all areas and facilities of the resort undergo regular inspections by the Ministry of Emergency Situations and other relevant authorities. The water park, now in its third season, has hosted over 350,000 guests. In light of the incident, Agalarov stated that all safety measures will be reviewed and enhanced.

He concluded by committing to provide the family with necessary support and assistance. The tragic incident involved Akif Javid oglu Abdullayev, a 4-year-old child born in 2022, whose leg became trapped in a water pump at the Sea Breeze resort in Nardaran. Despite efforts to save him, the child succumbed to the accident.
