“Everyone knows the events that took place 30 years ago on Azerbaijani lands, in Karabakh, but the Minsk Group at the representations of the United States, Russia and France did nothing to solve the problem, Mr. Biden! You did not liberate the lands of the people who lived there from occupation,” Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said this at a press conference following a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, commenting on the position of US President Joe Biden on the fictitious “Armenian genocide”, APA’s local bureau reports.
The Turkish President noted that as a result of the occupation of Azerbaijani lands, more than a million Azerbaijanis were expelled from their lands: “All settlements, historical monuments in this region were destroyed and burned by the Armenians. The Armenians committed war crimes there. If you are talking about genocide, you should consider that too. We will not talk about how you killed the Indians, this historical fact is obvious. Against the background of all these facts, you have no right to accuse the Turkish nation of genocide. ”
Erdogan added that the Armenians also spin up lies about “genocide” every year in order to cover up the terrorist acts that they have regularly committed for a century and a half.
