London: The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has announced the appointment of Fatoumata Bouar© as the new Vice President and Chief Risk Officer. Her efforts ensured financial stability during a period of significant growth for the bank.
Prior to her position at FMO, Ms Bouar© served as the Director of Risk Management at the Bank of Africa, where she was responsible for overseeing the group and its 18 affiliates. The Bank’s shareholders have approved an expansion plan to include six sub-Saharan countries, scheduled to commence in 2025.
