Baku: In 2026, expenditures of the Unemployment Insurance Fund are projected to amount to 266.4 million manats – an increase of 2.2% or 5.7 million manats compared to 2025, APA-Economics reports. This was reflected in the draft law ‘On the Budget of the Unemployment Insurance Fund for 2026,’ discussed at today’s joint meeting of the Parliamentary Committees on Labor and Social Policy, and Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the document reveals that 238.3 million manats of the expenditures will be covered by the fund’s revenues for the upcoming year, indicating a 15.5% increase compared to 2025. Additionally, 28.1 million manats will be financed from the fund’s established reserves.
