Baku: An extraordinary session of the Milli Majlis will be convened, APA reports. Signatures have already been collected from MPs in this regard, indicating preparations are underway for the session to take place in June.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Internal Regulations of the Milli Majlis stipulate that an extraordinary session can be convened at the request of 42 members of parliament. During these sessions, parliament meetings, as well as committee and commission gatherings, are conducted. MPs are expected to actively participate in the work of these committees and commissions.

The announcement of this extraordinary session comes as the spring session of the Milli Majlis concludes on May 31.
