Farid Shafiyev Remarks on International Acceptance of Azerbaijan’s New Realities

Baku: Farid Shafiyev, Chairman of the Board of the Center of Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center), has stated that the international community fully accepts the new realities established by Azerbaijan. The initialling of the draft 'Agreement on the Establishment of Peace and Interstate Relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia' in 2025, along with the closure of the OSCE Minsk Process and related structures, is seen as a logical and successful outcome of the peace process initiated by Azerbaijan.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Shafiyev highlighted that Azerbaijan is entering a new chapter in its bilateral relations with the United States. The country is also developing its overall dynamics in relations with the European Union positively, despite some negative aspects from the organization. Furthermore, Azerbaijan is enhancing its historical ties with Central Asian countries through various institutions and became a full-fledged participant of the 7th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia in November of this year.
