BAKU, SURAKHANI DISTRICT — A significant fire at the OilGasScientificResearchProject Institute's Experimental Research and Testing Facility, part of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), was fully extinguished by the Ministry of Emergency Situations without any reported spread to adjacent areas.

According to Azeri-Press Agency, The Ministry of Emergency Situations received an alert at 16:43 via the "112" hotline about the fire, according to the press service of the Ministry. Emergency services responded promptly, preventing the fire from affecting nearby residential structures. Firefighting efforts continued, with three emergency medical teams deployed. One individual required on-site medical assistance. The Ministry assured that the situation was under control and would provide additional updates as necessary.
