BAKU: Nobel Energy Management Company is set to initiate the construction of a significant solar power facility in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, with plans to reach a capacity of 400 megawatts. Deputy Head of the State Energy Service of Nakhchivan, Tural Murtuzaliyev, announced that a foundation-laying ceremony for the initial 30 megawatts of the project is scheduled to occur shortly.

According to Trend News Agency, the development of this solar power plant is part of a broader strategy to enhance renewable energy infrastructure in the region. Energy Minister of Azerbaijan, Parviz Shahbazov, highlighted ongoing collaborations with several international firms including Baltech, Nobel Energy, A-Z Czech Engineering, and TotalEnergies. These partnerships aim to establish up to 1200 MW of solar power capacity in Nakhchivan by the year 2030, demonstrating a significant commitment to renewable energy and sustainability.
