Baku: In an interview with AZERTTAC, Governor of the West Coast region of Gambia, Ousman Bojang, expressed his appreciation with Baku's development, saying he was impressed by what he saw.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Ousman Bojang praised Baku's urban infrastructure, cleanliness, and service accessibility. He emphasized that Baku serves as a strong example for developing countries looking to enhance their urban development. Bojang also noted potential cooperation opportunities between The Gambia and Azerbaijan, particularly in areas such as infrastructure and climate change adaptation.
