Garabagh Horse Statue Unveiled at CICA Secretariat in Astana

Astana:A statue of a Garabagh horse, gifted by Azerbaijan to the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) during its chairmanship, was unveiled at the CICA Secretariat in Astana, Kazakhstan.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the unveiling ceremony coincided with CICA Day and was attended by CICA Secretary General Kairat Sarybay and members of the diplomatic community in Kazakhstan.

During the event, Alimirzamin Asgarov, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Kazakhstan, emphasized the significance of the Garabagh horse as a symbol of Azerbaijan's national heritage, representing courage and loyalty. He expressed hope that the statue would symbolize the friendship among member states and the supportive environment fostered by CICA.

Ambassador Asgarov also highlighted Azerbaijan's priorities during its CICA chairmanship, noting the upcoming 7th CICA Summit in Baku on October 15. He mentioned Azerbaijan's active collaboration with member states and the Secretariat in preparing for the meeting.

CICA Secretary General Kairat Sarybay noted that the statue joins other artworks from member states that showcase Asia's cultural diversity.
