Baku: An official opening ceremony for the 'GASTHERM EXPO-2026' International Exhibition and the GASTHERM INTERNATIONAL FORUM took place at the EXPO International Exhibition Center in Astana. This event is set to highlight advanced technologies and solutions in the gas, water, and heat supply sectors, alongside infrastructure improvement and sustainable development initiatives in Kazakhstan.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the official international media partner of the EXPO, the event has attracted participation from around 50 companies across five countries. These companies are showcasing cutting-edge equipment and technologies aimed at construction, modernization, digitalization, and the safe operation of engineering networks.

A key focus of the event is on safety and digitalization. Exhibits will include technologies that enable real-time gas leak detection, remote monitoring of network conditions, and the automatic transmission of resource consumption data. Also on display are smart sensors and automated boilers that represent the forefront of industry innovation.

The exhibition is complemented by the GASTHERM INTERNATIONAL FORUM, which seeks to establish a network of partnerships and business connections between international companies, government agencies, and investors. The forum will facilitate discussions on joint project implementation and industry development strategies, involving experts and government agencies.

As part of the event's business program, the GasTherm Awards 2026 ceremony will occur on August 26. This prestigious accolade will honor the projects, technologies, specialists, and teams that are driving innovation in the engineering field. The event will conclude on August 27.
