Georgian Foreign Minister Highlights Strategic Partnership at Baku Forum

Baku: Georgian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili emphasized the strong relations and strategic partnership between Georgia and Azerbaijan. Her comments came as she discussed the participation of Georgia's delegation in the 13th Session of the UN World Urban Forum, currently taking place in Baku.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Botchorishvili underscored Azerbaijan's role as a significant partner for Georgia. She highlighted the importance of exchanging information on priority issues between the two nations, which she deemed of significant importance. The Foreign Minister also noted that the forum serves as an essential platform for Georgia to express its positions and engage in bilateral discussions with representatives from partner countries.

Botchorishvili further mentioned that the presence of Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze at the event would facilitate the voicing of Georgia's perspectives and allow for strategic meetings with international leaders. She emphasized the significance of Baku hosting a high-level conference that attracts world leaders and representatives from international organizations, providing Georgia with an opportunity to address critical issues on a global stage.
