Baku: A grant competition called "International Initiatives" has been announced for WUF13. The results of this grant competition will be announced next month, Aygun Aliyeva, Executive Director of the Agency for State Support to NGOs, told journalists, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, projects from 49 non-governmental organizations have already been submitted to this competition. This initiative marks a significant opportunity for NGOs to participate in the international forum.

Aygun Aliyeva highlighted that this year, for the first time, a forum for non-governmental organizations is planned to be held at WUF13. She emphasized that following WUF13, this initiative will leave a lasting legacy for future World Urban Forums.
