According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Afandiyeva emphasized that the participation of President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva at the forum is a comprehensive presentation of Azerbaijan's large-scale diplomacy to the world. It symbolizes the unity of Azerbaijan's political power with its cultural-humanitarian strategy. Afandiyeva highlighted that the President's meetings at the forum reflected Azerbaijan's foreign policy across Europe, the Middle East, the Turkic world, and the broader Islamic world. President Ilham Aliyev's bilateral meetings with the Presidents of Trkiye and Northern Cyprus exemplify Azerbaijan's commitment to maintaining the 'line of brotherhood' as a key direction on its diplomatic map. Furthermore, Afandiyeva noted the strategic partnership within the Islamic world, pointing to President Ilham Aliyev's meeting with Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif as a continuation of relations grounded in mutual support across political, military, and economic fields, alongside shared religious bonds.
Additionally, Afandiyeva mentioned that the head of state met with Ahmad Al-Sharaa, the transitional leader of Syria.
