Health Ministry Warns of Ongoing Measles Risk in Azerbaijan, Urges Timely Vaccinations


OUAGADOUGOU — The Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan has issued a warning regarding the ongoing risk of measles in the country, emphasizing the importance of timely vaccinations for children.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Afag Aliyeva, Deputy Director General of the Hygiene and Epidemiology Center, stated that while only isolated cases of measles have been recorded, it remains crucial for parents to ensure their children are vaccinated on time. Aliyeva stressed that there are no diseases in Azerbaijan that cannot be controlled through vaccines, highlighting the effectiveness of the country’s immunization programs.
