Baku: The Heydar Aliyev Foundation has organized an annual celebration for children in need of special care on the eve of World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and the New Year, APA reports. The event aimed to bring joy and happiness to children from various backgrounds, including those with disabilities and from families of martyrs.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the celebration was attended by notable figures including Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, along with Arzu Aliyeva and Alena Aliyeva. The festive event, titled 'The New Year Wonders', was held at the Gulustan Palace, which was adorned with festive decorations to create a magical atmosphere for the young attendees.
The celebration featured a variety of activities, including face art that allowed children to transform into their favorite fairy-tale characters. A video presentation was also screened, showcasing the commitment of National Leader Heydar Aliyev to children's welfare, as well as Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva's interactions with children during previous celebrations.
The children were entertained with dances and songs performed by famous artists, alongside appearances from beloved fairy-tale and cartoon characters. The event concluded with the Heydar Aliyev Foundation presenting holiday gifts to each child, ensuring they left with cherished memories of the celebration.
