Baku: The India Pavilion was inaugurated on May 18 at the 'Urban Expo' exhibition, part of the 13th Session of the UN World Urban Forum (WUF13) hosted by Baku. The pavilion, established by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs of India, operates under the slogan 'India's Urban Transformation: Housing a Billion Dreams.' It aims to present India's journey towards urban development and transformation.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the pavilion emphasizes how innovative urban policies, programs, and partnerships at national, state, and city levels are turning the aspirations of billions into reality. India's Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Abhay Kumar, spoke at the opening ceremony, reaffirming India's commitment to building inclusive, sustainable, and resilient cities.
