Baku: The Indian Embassy in Azerbaijan has organized an Indian Food Festival in Baku, featuring an array of Indian cuisine, cultural performances, and diplomatic engagements. The festival served as a platform for showcasing the rich tapestry of Indian cuisine and cultural heritage.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Indian Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Abhay Kumar, emphasized the role of the festival in enhancing cultural and people-to-people connections between India, Azerbaijan, and other friendly nations. He highlighted that the festival's timing in April coincides with harvest festivals in India and other regions. Ambassador Kumar also mentioned ongoing cultural initiatives such as 'Baku Evenings' and the 'Bharat Filmotsav' Indian Film Festival, describing the food festival as a vital step towards deepening friendship and cultural understanding between the two countries.
