Moscow: The 1st International Security Forum has been concluded in the Moscow Region of the Russian Federation, as reported by the Security Council of Azerbaijan to APA. A delegation led by Colonel General Ramil Usubov, Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan, actively participated in the event.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the three-day forum attracted representatives from 145 countries, 14 international organizations, and 4,500 delegates. The event featured scientific and practical conferences, roundtable discussions, briefings, presentations, and exhibitions focused on security issues.
The head of the Azerbaijani delegation addressed the 14th International Meeting of High Representatives Responsible for Security Issues, a significant event within the forum. This meeting focused on 'Challenges and Threats to International Security in the Context of the Formation of a Multipolar World Order.'
Ramil Usubov's speech underscored the increasing challenges and threats impacting international security and stability amid ongoing global processes. He emphasized the necessity of enhancing collective international efforts to address these issues.
Usubov also highlighted Azerbaijan's role in fostering a sustainable security environment regionally and globally. He credited President Ilham Aliyev's leadership and efforts in promoting sustainable international cooperation.
The delegation engaged in bilateral and multilateral meetings, discussing the strengthening of security ties, cooperation prospects, and other mutual interests.
