Tehran: Iran Air, the national airline of the Islamic Republic of Iran, has announced that it will resume its international flights starting April 25. The flag carrier will operate these flights on five routes from Imam Khomeini International Airport.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the resumption of flights comes after the airline received the necessary permits from relevant authorities. This decision addresses the passenger demand for travel to destinations such as Istanbul, Baku, Doha, Najaf, and Baghdad.
Iran Air had previously suspended its international flights due to heightened regional tensions and the US-Israeli attacks on Iran in late February. The resumption of flights marks a significant step in re-establishing connectivity for travelers in the region.
