Baku – In a joint press statement with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Iraqi President Abdullatif Jamal Rashid highlighted the need to foster a new business environment to enhance opportunities between Iraq and Azerbaijan. This was reported by APA during their meeting in Baku.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Rashid congratulated President Aliyev on achieving peace and stability in Azerbaijan and extended his best wishes for the successful finalization of Azerbaijan’s agreement with Armenia.

Emphasizing the futility of war and conflict, the Iraqi President advocated for dialogue, understanding, and cooperation as the means to resolve problems. He expressed his intent to create opportunities that would mutually benefit both Iraq and Azerbaijan through enhanced business relations.
