Israeli President Extends Independence Day Greetings to Azerbaijani Leader

Baku: President of the State of Israel Isaac Herzog has sent a congratulatory letter to President Ilham Aliyev, marking the occasion of Azerbaijan's Independence Day. The letter, which highlights the robust ties between the two nations, was reported by APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Herzog expressed his warmest wishes on behalf of Israel and its citizens, hoping for another year of peace and prosperity for Azerbaijan. He emphasized the strategic and vibrant relationship between Israel and Azerbaijan, noting that it transcends political dimensions and is rooted in a deep friendship between their peoples.

Herzog acknowledged the value of his personal friendship with President Aliyev and appreciated their open dialogue, referencing a meeting they had earlier this year in Davos. He highlighted the role both countries play as stabilizing forces in their shared region, underscoring the positive influence of their bilateral ties on other actors throughout Eurasia.
