A meeting with representatives of the Jordanian official media was held at the Azerbaijani Embassy in Jordan.

The embassy told AZERTAC that the journalists were given detailed information about the history and prospects of relations between the two friendly countries. It was noted that Jordan and Azerbaijan have great potential for cooperation in agriculture, tourism and other fields.

Ambassador Eldar Salimov also informed Jordanian journalists about the extensive reconstruction work carried out in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan. He also spoke about the importance of the Alat Free Economic Zone, which was inaugurated by President Ilham Aliyev on July 1, in global trade.

The sides also exchanged views on the publication of more news and articles about the realities of Azerbaijan in the Jordanian media.
