Shusha: The recent liberation of Karabakh has sparked widespread celebrations among Azerbaijanis globally, according to Professor Mahmud Kamaloglu of Georgia, who is currently visiting Shusha.
According to Trend News Agency, Professor Kamaloglu expressed his observations on the joy and pride permeating the Azerbaijani community following the region’s liberation from Armenian control. He highlighted the significant role of President Ilham Aliyev in the revitalization efforts of Karabakh, which has been a focal point of national pride.
“Thanks to the efforts of President Ilham Aliyev, we are witnessing the revitalization of Karabakh today. About half a million Azerbaijanis live in Georgia alone, and each of them longs to see Karabakh. Once it was freed, every house exuded festivity,” Kamaloglu stated during his visit.
Moreover, a group of Azerbaijanis residing in Georgia embarked on a journey to the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, with Shusha being their first stop. The participants are set to explore t
he city’s historical landmarks and gain extensive insights into its heritage and significance.
The liberation has evidently rekindled a sense of unity and celebration among Azerbaijanis worldwide, underscoring the deep cultural and national connections to the Karabakh region.
