Icherisheher: Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of the IDEA Public Union Leyla Aliyeva, and head of the Baku Media Center Arzu Aliyeva visited the International Carpet Festival at the Gosha Gala Square in Icherisheher.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, the Aliyeva sisters toured the festival pavilions, which featured carpet samples, traditional handicrafts, and examples of applied decorative arts from different countries. The festival provided an array of exhibits showcasing the rich tradition and intricate designs of carpets.

Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva spent time observing the intricate carpet-weaving process, which includes several stages such as sorting and cleaning wool, dyeing with natural colors, preparing yarns, designing patterns, and weaving. This process highlights the skill and dedication required to produce these traditional crafts.

The Aliyevas also engaged in friendly conversations with local and international guests who were present at the festival, further emphasizing the cultural exchange aspect of the event. They also took the opportunity to pose for commemorative photos with attendees, marking their participation in this cultural celebration.
