Baku: On June 30, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva familiarized herself with the newly commissioned building of the Sheki City Art School.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Leyla Aliyeva was provided with detailed information about the school during her visit. The original building, constructed in 1938, had deteriorated over time, prompting the Heydar Aliyev Foundation to construct a new building for the school.
The new educational facility comprises two blocks designed to accommodate 430 students and is fully equipped with necessary furniture, equipment, and visual aids. The school houses various specialized classrooms, including those for music, theory, choir, photography, painting, sculpture, and design. Additionally, it features choreography and assembly halls, a library, and a canteen for both teachers and students.
The school grounds have been enhanced with landscaping and greening efforts, including the planting of decorative shrubs and trees. A modern lighting system has also been installed to further improve the environment.
