Amsterdam: Ajax has reached an agreement with Maximilian Ibrahimovic and AC Milan on the loan of the nineteen-year-old forward, according to the official website of the club.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the loan agreement runs for six months, until the end of this season. The agreement includes an option to buy for Ajax. Ibrahimovic, born in Lund, Sweden, on September 22, 2006, made his move from Hammarby IF's youth academy to AC Milan's youth academy in 2022. Over the past six months, the right-footed player featured for Milan Futuro, the second team that competes in the Italian Serie D.

He highlighted Ibrahimovic's talent as a forward with a strong sense of positioning in and around the penalty area, along with goal-oriented finishing skills. Beuker noted that Ibrahimovic is skilful with his dribbling and possesses a winner's mentality and training attitude.

Beuker further explained that Ibrahimovic will initially gain playing time with Ajax U23 and will regularly transition between Ajax U23 and the first team during the season. This arrangement aims to help him acclimate to the higher level and intensity of Ajax 1. Beuker expressed hope that Ibrahimovic, with his potential, can eventually become a permanent part of Ajax 1's attack.
