Nkayi: The 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) was conducted with notable efficiency and met the expectations of an international event, stated Michel Batomissa Malanda, Mayor of Nkayi, Republic of the Congo, in a conversation with AZERTAC.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Michel Batomissa Malanda highlighted the professional value of participating in such an event. He commended the host country for its commendable organization, which he believes deserves high praise.

The mayor pointed out that countries worldwide are dealing with substantial challenges such as demographic shifts, environmental issues, and housing shortages. International platforms like WUF13 are essential, allowing cities and countries to exchange experiences and collaborate on finding solutions to pressing urbanization challenges.

Expressing his appreciation, the mayor thanked the Azerbaijani government and President Ilham Aliyev for facilitating participation in this global dialogue. He emphasized that WUF13 has been a significant venue for discussing and developing practical urban solutions.
