Baku: The Media Development Agency of Azerbaijan (MEDIA) has announced the results of a public opinion survey covering the first half of 2026. The survey aimed to gauge Azerbaijani citizens' attitudes toward the activities of President Ilham Aliyev, as well as to examine the dynamics and trends in this area.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the President's political leadership and strategic activities continue to enjoy strong public support. The overall level of trust in President Ilham Aliyev among respondents stood at 87.7%, while 93.6% of respondents positively assessed his performance.

Another strong indicator reflecting respondents' high level of confidence and support is their voting preference. If a presidential election were held next Sunday, 91.5% of respondents said they would vote for President Ilham Aliyev.

Overall, 81.9% of respondents consider President Ilham Aliyev an irreplaceable political leader.

The survey was conducted through face-to-face interviews between May 20 and 30 and involved 1,210 respondents aged 18 and above.
