Medical Facilities Fully Prepared for COP29 Event.

Baku: Medical facilities are fully prepared for the upcoming COP29 event, as confirmed by Vugar Gurbanov, Executive Director of the Azerbaijani Management Union of Medical Territorial Units (TABIB). During a briefing, Gurbanov detailed the extensive preparations undertaken by the COP29 Operating Company and TABIB to ensure all medical institutions are ready to deliver necessary services throughout the event.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, the readiness plan includes provisions for emergencies, with 370 beds allocated for such situations at the Mohammadi modular hospital, part of the Sabunchu Medical Center. This preparedness ensures that immediate medical attention can be provided if required during the event.

Furthermore, 10 beds have been specifically allocated in the modular hospital under the Clinical Medical Center to cater to individuals affected by airborne infectious diseases. This measure is part of a broader strategy to manage potential health issues efficiently.

To address the possibility
of burn injuries, a comprehensive Burn Department has been established at the Central Neftchilar Hospital. This department is fully equipped with the necessary medical equipment to provide high-quality care, underscoring the commitment to participant safety during COP29.
