Baku: 'Energy cooperation in Azerbaijan-Trkiye relations has gained strong strategic significance,' Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov stated during his speech at the 5th Azerbaijan-Trkiye Energy Forum, APA-Economics reports. The minister highlighted the evolving role of joint energy projects as a testament to the strategic directions and expansive geography of the partnership between Azerbaijan and Trkiye.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Minister Shahbazov underscored the significance of SOCAR Trkiye and companies providing refueling services at Istanbul airports, identifying them as key areas of energy collaboration. He emphasized that these projects are pivotal in enhancing bilateral economic ties and fortifying energy integration.

Additionally, the minister pointed out the establishment of new petrochemical capacities in Trkiye, which, along with the execution of new projects in the energy sector, is contributing to the expansion of economic links between the two nations. This development underscores a deeper synergy in energy strategies, marking a strengthened cooperative bond.
