Baku: The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense has denied allegations made by the Armenian Ministry of Defense regarding an incident involving an excavator in the Syunik region. The Armenian side claimed that Azerbaijani Army units opened fire on the excavator engaged in road construction work between combat positions on August 4 at approximately 13:10.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense clarified that no such firing occurred from their army units in the specified direction at the stated time. The Ministry’s response was made in reply to an inquiry, seeking to correct the information that had been disseminated by the Armenian Ministry of Defense.
