Moscow: Moscow supports the full opening of transport communications in the South Caucasus region, Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Mikhail Galuzin stated at the session titled '3+3 Platform: Common Challenges and Strategic Partnership' held during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, APA's Russia bureau reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the opening of transport communications in the region is deemed necessary for the effective functioning of the '3+3' format. Galuzin emphasized the importance of involving all countries in the South Caucasus to develop the region's transit potential. He noted that achieving full transport connectivity requires opening Armenia's borders with Azerbaijan and Trkiye, as well as Georgia's borders with Abkhazia and South Ossetia. Galuzin highlighted that the sooner these borders are opened, the more logistics opportunities will be available for all regional players.
