Moscow-Ganja Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Volgograd Due to Medical Emergency

VOLGOGRAD — A Boeing 737 aircraft operated by Russian Aeroflot en route from Moscow to Ganja made an emergency landing at Volgograd airport on October 28.

According to a new release by Azeri-Press News Agency, the emergency landing was necessitated by a passenger losing consciousness. Immediate medical assistance was provided to the individual in the cabin of the plane. Subsequently, the affected passenger was admitted to a local hospital in Volgograd for further evaluation and was later sent to outpatient treatment.
