Baku:The New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) is holding its congress for the first time since Azerbaijan fully restored its territorial integrity and sovereignty, as highlighted by President Ilham Aliyev, who is also the chairman of the party. His remarks were made during the 8th Congress of YAP.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, President Aliyev reflected on the circumstances of the previous congress, noting it took place shortly after Azerbaijan's significant victory. He emphasized that the event occurred in a changed environment, with global attention on Azerbaijan's achievements.

The president highlighted that since the country's victory in the Second Karabakh War, Azerbaijan's new position and achievements have been recognized worldwide. The end of the occupation and the creation of new regional realities were underscored as key outcomes of Azerbaijan's efforts.
