DUSHANBE: The National Bank of Tajikistan and the Swiss National Bank have engaged in discussions to enhance their bilateral cooperation, particularly focusing on technical assistance, capacity building, digitalization, and climate-related issues. These discussions were part of a meeting held between Firdavs Tolibzoda, the Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan, and Martin Schlegel, the Chairman of the Swiss National Bank.
According to Trend News Agency, the meeting included an exchange of views on technical assistance related to resource management, with both parties reaffirming their commitment to maintaining effective relations between Tajikistan and Switzerland. In a separate meeting on the same day, Tolibzoda held discussions with a delegation from the Swiss multinational UBS Investment Bank. The topics covered included global economic issues, financial cooperation, sovereign investor trends, and risks in the financial market, alongside potential collaboration in international resource management.
