Natural Gas Prices Decline in European Market

Amsterdam: Natural gas prices in Europe have continued to fall during recent auctions. The cost for 1,000 cubic meters of gas has been recorded at $403, reflecting a notable decrease in the market.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the price of September futures on the TTF (Title Transfer Facility of the Netherlands), recognized as the most active virtual trading center in Europe, was set at $403.1. This marks a 1.3% reduction from the previous price of $408.5.

The transportation of Azerbaijani gas to Europe, facilitated by the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP), commenced on December 31, 2020. This pipeline continues to play a significant role in the supply of natural gas to the European market.
