Naval Combat Exercises Focus on Anti-Submarine Defense and Emergency Preparedness

Baku: In alignment with the current year’s training plan, the Navy (NAV) recently conducted comprehensive training exercises focusing on “Organization of the ship’s anti-submarine sabotage defense” and “Organization of the ship’s struggle for sustainability at anchorage,” as reported by the Ministry of Defense to APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the primary objective of the training was to educate naval personnel on effectively organizing anti-submarine sabotage defense mechanisms. Additionally, the exercises aimed to assess the ship’s readiness to maintain sustainability during potential emergency situations at anchorage.

The training sessions incorporated practical drills on fire preparedness at anchorage, emphasizing the importance of providing first aid to the wounded and ensuring their safe evacuation. The exercises also showcased the operations of the rescue party in maintaining sustainability and demonstrated various firefighting techniques tailored to the type and location of potential fires on board.

The training was deemed a success, with leaders commending the professionalism and preparedness demonstrated by the naval personnel throughout the exercises.
