Baku: A general meeting of the participants of ‘Green Corridor Union’ LLC, which includes “Azerenerji” OJSC, “Kazakhstan Electricity Grid Operating Company,” and “National Electric Networks of Uzbekistan” JSC, was convened at the Ministry of Energy. The Ministry informed APA-Economics about the developments discussed during the meeting.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Deputy Minister of Energy Orkhan Zeynalov highlighted the significance of the ‘Azerbaijan-Central Asia Green Energy Corridor’ project. He noted that the project has significantly enhanced the collaborative efforts among the participating countries. Within this framework, the effective operation of ‘Green Corridor Union’ LLC is considered vital.

During the session, the appointment of Tural Aliyev as the new Director General of ‘Green Corridor Union’ LLC was agreed upon by the participants. Furthermore, there was a consensus on increasing the company’s charter capital. The meeting also included discussions on hiring a consulting firm to conduct a feasibility study and address other organizational issues.

The meeting concluded with the signing of documents related to the decisions made.
