Baku: An official welcome ceremony was held on February 10 for Vice President of the United States James David Vance, APA's correspondent reports. A guard of honor was lined up for the U.S. Vice President in the square decorated with the national flags of both countries.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev welcomed U.S. Vice President James David Vance. The chief of the guard of honor reported to Vice President Vance, and the national anthems of the United States and Azerbaijan were performed.

Members of the Azerbaijani delegation were presented to Vice President Vance, while the members of the U.S. delegation were introduced to President Aliyev. The ceremony concluded with the guard of honor marching past President Aliyev and Vice President Vance to the accompaniment of a military march.
