‘Only Culture’ Honoring Huseyn Javid Staged at Heydar Aliyev Palace

Baku: The Heydar Aliyev Palace recently hosted a musical and artistic program titled 'Only Culture', dedicated to commemorating the esteemed poet, writer, and playwright Huseyn Javid. The event attracted notable attendees, including Leyla Aliyeva, adding a touch of significance to the occasion.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the program was directed by Abdulgani Aliyev, with the script penned by Afaq Vasifqizi and Lala Aliyeva. In a remarkable portrayal, People's Artist Eyyub Yagubov took on the role of Huseyn Javid, bringing to life the essence of the legendary literary figure. The show also featured performances by People's Artist Mehriban Zaki and celebrated musician Vagif Asadov, alongside pianist and composer Gulsum Eldarova. Actors Elshan Asgarov, Natig Abdullayev, Ogtay Kazimov, and Emil Baghirzada contributed to the dynamic ensemble, with musical support from the Jahangir Jahangirov Choir and the Azerbaijan State Chamber Orchestra named after Gara Garayev.

The program presented moving stage scenes depicting the life and creative journey of the playwright, intertwined with a heartfelt love subplot and excerpts from his plays. The performance was further enriched by lyrical pieces, and the musical contributions by People's Artist Eyyub Yagubov added profound artistic depth to the production.
