Pakistani and Tajik Citizens Ensured to Pass Through Astara Border Checkpoint

Astara: The evacuation process from the Astara Border Customs Crossing Point continues as Pakistani and Tajik citizens are allowed safe passage. Approximately 20 Pakistani and two Tajik citizens have successfully crossed the border, ensuring their safety amidst ongoing challenges in the region.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, the situation at the border remains dynamic as authorities facilitate the evacuation process. Tajik citizen and surgeon, Avaz Nazarov, shared his experience of traveling to Tehran for a medical operation. He recounted the sudden onset of conflict, stating, "The war started. They shot everywhere. We came back."

Efforts are ongoing at the border crossing point to ensure the safe evacuation of individuals from the affected areas. The situation continues to develop as more citizens make their way through the checkpoint.
