Tbilisi: "Peace and stability in our region are of great importance to us. Georgia cannot ensure this alone. It is important that every country in the region remains committed to it," Speaker of the Georgian Parliament Shalva Papuashvili said during a briefing, APA's local bureau reports. He emphasized the significance of the ongoing dialogue between Azerbaijan and Armenia, highlighting its importance for regional stability.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Papuashvili expressed his support for Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his party, wishing them success. He underscored the current dynamics in the region, particularly the steps towards a peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the opening of borders, and the ongoing dialogue between the neighboring countries.
The speaker remarked that Pashinyan's efforts were focused on ensuring peace and stability in Armenia. Papuashvili stated, "This ultimately means peace and stability for the entire region. In turn, this will benefit the prosperity of every country and nation in the region."
