Abu dhabi: Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that the era of conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan has come to an end. Speaking at the Zayed Award for Human Fraternity ceremony, Pashinyan highlighted the historic nature of recent developments.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Pashinyan remarked on the rarity of associating peace with Armenia and Azerbaijan over the past four decades. He noted that the idea of peace between the two nations was once considered unbelievable. However, the events of 2025 and current progress signify an unprecedented shift.
Pashinyan stressed that the ceremony not only celebrates the peace deal but also marks a mutual agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan to move beyond their conflict. This acknowledgment by both countries indicates a new chapter in their relations.
