Police Generals son sentenced to 4-month pre-trial detention in Azerbaijan – Tamerlan Asadullayev is accused of stabbing a man (Azeri-Press News Agency)

A quarrel occurred in Senator restaurant in Yasamal district of Baku on April 10, a man was stabbed.

Spokesman for Prosecutor General’s Office Eldar Sultanov told APA that the Investigation Department of Yasamal District Police Office had launched a criminal case on the fact under articles #126.2.4 (deliberate infliction of serious bodily harm) and 221.3 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code.

Sultanov noted that Tamerlan Asadullayev was brought to justice under these charges and Yasamal District Court sentenced him to 4-month pre-trial detention.

Tamerlan Asadullayev is son of head of Department on Combating Human Trafficking at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, police major-general Sharif Asadullayev.
